Key Qualifications & Experience: Valid Occupational Therapist license in Arizona (or eligibility) Strong background working in school-based or pediatric OT settings Experience in conducting thorough student assessments and screenings Familiarity with writing and implementing IEPs and 504 plans Excellent communication skills to interact with parents, IEP teams, and staffAbility to support teachers and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), when necessary Flexible, organized, and passionate about empowering students of varied ability levels Key Responsibilities: Conduct individualized screenings and comprehensive assessments to determine student needs Interpret assessment results and compile data for educational planning Provide direct OT services to students, supporting their educational access and participation Develop, implement, and actively monitor IEPs and 504 plans in collaboration with school teams Communicate clearly with parents, educators, and other team members regarding student progress or needs Offer guidance and support to classroom teachers and COTAs when assigned Maintain all required documentation and participate in student-centered meetings Enjoy the benefits of a contract role, including the ability to grow professionally in a supportive and engaging school environment.
