This position is for a travel RN specializing in the Operating Room. The role involves working in an 8 OR facility with a staff of 25. The unit operates from 07:00 to 17:30. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:1. Candidates must have experience functioning in multiple service lines. Preferred candidates will have Meditech experience, as well as transplant and spine experience. Typical procedures performed in this unit include orthopedic, ENT, urology, spine, general, GYN, endoscopy, plastics, and cardiac surgeries. Strong teamwork skills with providers and staff are essential. Patient care experience is a priority. A 30-minute response time is required for on-call duties. On-call responsibilities will vary between first, second, and third call, including weekdays and weekends. This is a competitive market, and the unit offers a supportive environment with experienced staff and new technology.
