Position Overview:

As the Admissions Coordinator, you will serve as the first point of contact for many residents and families transitioning into our care. This critical role requires a deep understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance, paired with an outgoing, warm personality and a passion for helping people feel confident and cared for. You'll work closely with our Marketing Director and Leadership Team to ensure every admission is handled smoothly, professionally, and with a personal touch that reflects our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all aspects of the admission process from initial inquiry to resident intake
• Guide families through insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, and private pay options with clarity and expertise
• Build strong relationships with hospitals, referral sources, and community partners
• Collaborate with the Marketing Director to promote the facility and maintain census goals
• Partner with the clinical and administrative team to ensure seamless transitions and a five-star first impression
• Think creatively about "Day One" admissions experiences-from personalized welcomes to room readiness, orientation, and comfort-focused details
• Maintain accurate records and support compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in long-term care admissions, case management, or healthcare navigation
• In-depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance processes
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A warm, approachable, and enthusiastic personality
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• A natural sense of community and empathy, with the ability to make others feel valued and heard
• Willingness to think outside the box to ensure a welcoming, stress-free admission experience
