Quality Assurance Inspector

The Quality Inspector II is responsible for performing intermediate-level inspection, testing, and documentation activities to ensure materials, components, and finished products meet established quality standards and specifications. This role works with precision measuring tools, interprets technical drawings, and provides accurate, timely reporting to support manufacturing and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Inspection & Testing

Visually inspects, tests, and measures materials, parts, and products to verify conformance to specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
Utilizes a variety of precision tools and inspection equipment, including calipers, gauges, micrometers, and electronic measurement devices.
Interprets engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to determine appropriate inspection criteria and techniques.
Identifies, documents, and communicates defects, deviations, and nonconformances to appropriate personnel for resolution.
Documentation & Reporting

Accurately records inspection results in logs, forms, electronic systems, or databases following established procedures.
Prepares detailed inspection reports summarizing findings, measurement data, and compliance status.
Reviews inspection records, reports, and compliance data for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to quality requirements.
Performs batch record review to support production release, quality traceability, and regulatory compliance.
