Goodwill Columbus is looking for dependable Custodians to help keep our facilities clean, safe, and welcoming. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong work history, positive attitude, and excellent customer service skills. No custodial experience is required. We will provide training. Pay, Schedule & Location Pay:$14 to $15/hour Schedule:Full-time and Part-Time (40 hours/week, First & Second Shifts)/ Part-time (20 hours/week, Second Shift) What You'll Do Clean offices, hallways, entrances, break rooms, and common areas. Empty trash and replace liners. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors. Clean and disinfect restrooms. Restock soap, paper towels, and other supplies. Clean windows, doors, water fountains, and other surfaces. Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely. Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for staff and visitors. Complete other cleaning duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Strong customer service and communication skills. Reliable attendance and a stable work history. Ability to work independently and stay organized. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to follow directions and safety procedures. Prior custodial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience is a plus, but not required. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. No custodial experience required. Training provided. Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and supervisors. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage daily tasks. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for long periods throughout the shift. Frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and lift. Regularly lift and carry up to 10 pounds; occasional heavier lifting may be required. Use cleaning equipment and tools safely. Work in different indoor environments and around cleaning products.
