Smith Agency Inc., a private nonprofit serving children and adults with developmental disabilities, is hiring compassionate Residential Caregivers for our Aurora homes.

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct care in a structured, home-like setting
• Support daily living activities and routines
• Assist with behavior management
• Create a safe, respectful, and consistent environment

We operate:

• 2 Residential Child Care Facilities
• 8 Adult PCA Group Homes

What You Need

• 2 years caregiver or human services experience (written reference required)
• Experience working with developmentally delayed individuals
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Pass FBI background check & drug screen
• Flexible availability (evenings/weekends may be required)

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Work experience includes working with people with disabilities or comparable field. Must have completed high school or equivalency, CPR / First Aid, Medication Certification, Defensive Driving and have a clean C.B.I. (Fingerprints) and CDHS Background Check. Applicant must have an active driver's license and clean driving record. Must have a negative drug screening.
