Pay Rate: $25/hr Convenient Schedule: Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays Work-Life Balance: Consistent hours and one-hour lunch breaks to support a healthy balance Growth Opportunities: Continuing Education (CE) credits, training & development, and advancement opportunities within our respected practices State-of-the-Art Facilities: Modern offices with digital charting (Denticon), advanced diagnostic imaging, and streamlined workflows Outstanding Reputation: Trusted by Long Island communities with hundreds of 5-star patient reviews and an exceptional standard of care Location: NowDental of Suffolk (Smithtown) 496 Smithtown Bypass, Suite 300, Smithtown, NY 11787 M-W 9AM-6PM, T 9AM-5PM, F 8AM-2PM, S 9:30AM-3PM 9 operatories, advanced 3D imaging, modern patient-centered facility Your Role as a Dental Treatment Coordinator: Collaborate closely with dentists and specialists to present detailed and personalized treatment plans to patients clearly and compassionately Verify and clearly explain patient benefits, insurance details, pre-authorizations, and financial arrangements to facilitate informed patient decisions Efficiently schedule treatment appointments and coordinate follow-ups to maintain continuous patient care Consistently follow up with patients regarding pending treatment and encourage timely completion of recommended procedures Manage treatment-related documentation, including consent forms, policy agreements, financial arrangements, and ensure compliance with privacy standards Act as a trusted resource for patient inquiries, fostering patient comfort and satisfaction Work proactively with front desk and clinical teams to maintain smooth patient flow and communication between departments Qualifications We're Looking For: High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 1 year experience in a dental treatment coordinator or related role (required)Minimum of 2 years clinical dental experience preferred (dental assisting, patient coordination, front-office experience) Familiarity with dental software (Denticon or similar preferred) Knowledge of dental coding (ADA), PPO, HMO, DMO, Medicaid, and Indemnity insurance plans Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities Ability to work independently, maintain professionalism under pressure, and consistently meet deadlines About NowDental: With a longstanding reputation for excellence, NowDental provides comprehensive dental services across general dentistry, cosmetic care, endodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and periodontics.
