We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for an immediate school-based opening in Janesville, WI, serving an elementary caseload with possible middle school students, through the end of the school year.
Position Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Length: Through June 1st
- Location: Janesville, WI
- Schedule: Full-time or Part-time available
- Caseload: Elementary, with possible middle school students
- Caseload Size: 40 students
- Sites: 2 school sites
- Pay: 50-60/hr W2 (Direct and Indirect)
Requirements
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current, active Wisconsin OT license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- NBCOT certification
- Wisconsin DPI (Department of Public Instruction) license/credential for school-based practice, or willingness to obtain
- Experience with pediatric/school-based OT preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to pass background check (including caregiver background check per Wisconsin requirements)
- Strong documentation skills (IEP goals, evaluation reports, progress notes)
- Reliable transportation for travel between school sites
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in a school district or educational setting
- Familiarity with IDEA and IEP process
- Experience with sensory processing, fine motor, and functional skill development in elementary and/or middle school-aged students
- Comfortable managing a caseload across multiple sites
