About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 2 years preferred, will consider 1 year of experience for strong candidates License: Active state RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of experience in an emergency department preferred - Strong skills/experience in the emergency room accepted for candidates with 1 year of experience - Certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI Description: The position involves working in a fast-paced emergency department. You will care for patients of all age ranges, from infants to geriatric. The average daily census is approximately 130 patients. The unit consists of 47 beds with a patient ratio of 1:4. You will be required to take on every other weekend and holidays as scheduled. Your responsibilities will include managing complex diagnoses and emergency situations. The role requires proficiency in basic and advanced emergency nursing skills. Charting will primarily be conducted through an electronic system. Interdisciplinary support is available from various departments. You will be required to float within the specialty as needed. Compliance with certifications and licensing criteria is a must.
