Junior Java Developer

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design, build, and maintain Java-based services that detect and minimize risk in payment processing.
• Work on real-time systems that identify potentially fraudulent activity and enforce risk policies.
• Help improve the scalability, reliability, and observability of risk-related microservices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions around architecture and design.
• Assist in writing and maintaining automated tests to ensure high system reliability.
• Continuously learn and grow within a fast-paced, supportive engineering environment.

What We're Looking For

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• (Master's in CS preferred)
• Strong foundation in Java and object-oriented programming.
• Understanding of data structures algorithms , and design patterns
• Exposure to or interest in distributed systems real-time processing , or fraud detection is a plus.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs SQL , and development tools like Git
• Strong communication skills and an eagerness to learn from and contribute to the team.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Spring Boot message queues (e.g., Kafka), or cloud services (e.g., AWS). xhyhwjd
• Familiarity with basic data analytics or rules engines for risk assessment.
