Job Title: Production Technician Engineer Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Technician Engineer to direct and coordinate activities related to the design, construction, modification, and maintenance of equipment and machinery in our industrial plant. The chosen candidate will be responsible for editing and programming CNC machines through M and G Code, changing tool bars, and performing basic machine troubleshooting. This role includes all line support and management of tool life sheets.
Responsibilities

• Edit and program CNC machines using M and G Code.
• Change tool bars and set up machinery.
• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Provide production support and machine troubleshooting.
• Manage tool life sheets and conduct corrective maintenance.
• Support line operations and ensure optimal equipment functionality.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in programming CNC machines through M and G Code.
• Experience in tool life sheet management.
• Ability to change tool bars and troubleshoot CNC machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with plant layout and 480v systems.
• Knowledge of Fanuc controls, motor drives, and 3-phase wiring.
• Understanding of ladder logic and preventive maintenance.

Work Environment
Our facility operates on a three-shift schedule, with openings on the 1st shift (7:00am-4:00pm), 2nd shift (4:00pm-12:30am), and 3rd shift (10:30pm-7:00am). Candidates must be willing to work 10-15 hours of overtime weekly and every other Saturday. Our state-of-the-art facility, less than 10 years old, employs between 100-130 team members and supports various departments including production control, machining, and finishing.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenfield, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $27.40/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
