Description:
This is a position for an acute care occupational therapist.
The therapist will be required to float between various units.
Weekend rotations are required, with one weekend every four weeks.
The expected patient ratio is 8-9 patients per day.
Evaluations will typically be followed up by therapy sessions.
Candidates should have experience with adult rehabilitation and various patient diagnoses.
Experience in multi-trauma, surgical, orthopedic, stroke recovery, and other conditions is preferred.
The ability to manage time effectively and work independently is essential.
Candidates should be friendly and outgoing, fitting well within a close-knit team.
Flexibility to work across different areas is required.
The position may involve treating patients in acute, medical, ICU, and inpatient rehabilitation settings.
Additional responsibilities include picking up extra patients as needed to meet productivity standards.
