Descriptions & requirements About the role: As a Less-than-Truckload (LTL) National Sales Executive for TQL, you will be responsible for identifying high-volume LTL opportunities, building relationships with customers, and closing new business with existing accounts. - Engage with established TQL sales teams to identify companies with LTL opportunities
- Aggressively work potential accounts through the sales cycle - initiating contact, building relationships, qualifying opportunities, closing and onboarding
- Collaborate with the LTL Pricing Team to develop customized and competitive proposals
- Create and deliver presentations to perspective customers highlighting TQL's value added LTL services
- Work with the sales floor to prevent or solve problems with LTL accounts to ensure continued revenue growth
- Lead or assist account reviews with customers on performance, forecasts and future opportunities for LTL solutions
- Attend meetings and trade shows as needed
- Communicate customer and market trends to TQL senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1+ year of proven success in a highly metric-driven sales role with LTL business knowledge
- Strong phone, and in-person sales, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work and learn in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
- High energy with an excellent work ethic
- Self-directed with the ability to solve problems minimal oversight
- Ability to travel up to 20%
