• Shift: Combination of 8-hour and 24-hour shifts on a 7-week rotating schedule
• Hours/week: Approximately 170 hours/month

• License/Certs: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neonatology or Pediatrics (open to new Fellowship graduates)
• Experience: Prior Neonatology experience preferred; open to new fellows if BC in Pediatrics

What You'll Do

• Provide expert neonatal care to critically ill newborns in a Level-III, 60-bed NICU
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team supported by residents and nurse practitioners
• Manage approximately 6,000 deliveries annually and 1,000 NICU admissions
• Participate in quality improvement and research initiatives affiliated with KU School of Medicine Wichita
• Deliver inpatient care during scheduled in-house shifts, offering backup call from home
• Support and enhance neonatal care practices, prioritizing patient safety and family-centered care

What You Need

• MD or DO degree; BC/BE in Neonatology or Pediatrics
• Eligibility for Kansas licensure
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Experienced Neonatologists or recent Fellows
• Ability to collaborate in a research-oriented environment
