Job Description
The Junior QA Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications. This entry-level position involves testing software to identify bugs, verifying that requirements are met, and assisting in the development of testing protocols. The Junior QA Analyst works closely with developers and senior QA team members to contribute to delivering reliable and efficient software products.
Responsibilities
- Execute test cases and report defects to the development team
- Assist in creating and updating test plans and test cases
- Collaborate with developers to understand application features and requirements
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing
- Document test results and maintain accurate records
- Participate in meetings to discuss quality issues and improvements
- Support the QA team with test automation efforts as required
