Medical Assistant

Fast-paced Dermatology office seeking an energetic, team-oriented, Certified Medical Assistant. The ideal candidate has relevant experience, is certified, and eager to learn about dermatology!

Job Description

• Room patients
• Administer injections
• Scribe for provider during visits
• Set up and assist during surgical and cosmetic procedures
• Suture removals
• Stock and sanitize rooms
• Autoclave instruments
• Communicate biopsy, prescription, and lab results to patients
• Maintain pathology log
• Schedule patients for surgical procedures
• Administer Photodynamic Therapy

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant is preferred
• Confident with Sterile technique
• Eager to learn about Dermatology in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word ·
• Comfort using various computer programs and Electronic Medical Record systems

Job Type:

• Full-time: 4 days a week 7:30am – 5:00pm
• One overnight trip per month with the provider to practice in Gunnison, CO office (expenses paid)

Experience:

• 2 years of experience Medical Assisting is preferred
• Candidates with Dermatology experience are more competitive in this role

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required

Certifications/Licenses:

• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant is preferred

Pay:

• Pay starts at $20.00 per hour, based on experience
