REPORTS TO: CNC Department Supervisor

DIRECT REPORTS: No Direct Reports

WAGE RANGE: $28-$34 (based on experience)

About the Position

As a CNC Specialist at Dynamic Group, you will be responsible for interpreting manufacturing plans, prints, and CAD data, selecting appropriate tooling and fixturing, and verifying CAM programs for accurate CNC milling operations. This position involves machine setup, operation, in-process inspections, and troubleshooting to ensure part quality and equipment performance. Additionally, you will maintain process documentation, support preventive maintenance, and uphold QMS standards to meet our customers' exacting requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Interpretation of Manufacturing Plans, Prints, and/or CAD data
• Identification & application of appropriate fixturing and tooling
• CAM program verification, Set-up, & Operation of various CNC Milling machines
• Perform & Document all necessary inspections to assure quality expectations
• Troubleshoot part quality or machine performance issues
• Maintain all process and documentation standards in accordance with QMS: ISO 13485
• Conduct routine Preventive Maintenance of equipment

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 2+ years’ experience in a Mold Building or equivalent Precision Custom Manufacturing organization w/ Technical Degree in Machine Tool Technology, or 5+ years related experience
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Good communication and follow up skills
• Ability to make discretionary decisions regarding efficient use of time and equipment
• Ability to coordinate many active projects at once
• Excellent attention to detail in pursuit of 1st time quality results
