Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Position Type: Full-Time Assignment Length: Full School Year Position Overview We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support elementary-aged students in a school-based setting. This full-time opportunity serves a Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 5th-grade caseload and offers collaboration with an experienced supervising Speech-Language Pathologist. Key Responsibilities Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans and therapy goals. Support students with a variety of communication needs in an elementary school setting. Document student progress and maintain accurate service records. Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers. Participate in team meetings and consultations as needed. Follow all state and district regulations regarding SLPA practice. Qualifications Required Active California SLPA license. Minimum of 3 months of SLPA experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with elementary-aged students. Preferred Bilingual in Spanish and English. Previous school-based experience. Experience supporting diverse student populations and communication needs.
