Travel MRI Technologist - $2,690 per week

Job Summary The MRI Technologist is a healthcare professional responsible for performing high‑quality magnetic resonance imaging studies in a clinical setting. The role involves ensuring patient safety, providing effective communication with patients and radiologists, and operating advanced MRI equipment. The position is based in Garner, North Carolina. Job Details Position: MR I Technologist Location: Garner, North Carolina Start Date: 07/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: 12‑hour shifts, fully paid, 36 hours per week (guaranteed) Shift: 12 hours, days, primarily Sundays during contract period Employment Type: Travel Travel requirements: local travel may be required; private housing or generous housing allowance provided Pay: Competitive; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined Responsibilities Perform high‑quality MRI studies, operating GE 1.5T or similar equipment. Ensure patient safety and provide clear communication of procedures. Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, including independent advanced MRI studies. Maintain effective communication with radiologists and patients. Train new staff and provide ongoing support. Resolve customer interactions and issues promptly. Maintain diagnostic image quality and patient care standards. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum 1 year MRI experience in high‑volume environments preferred. ARRC (R) certification required; ARRT (MR) preferred. CPR certification through the American Heart Association. Venipuncture certification. Valid state driver’s license if applicable. Technical proficiency with GE 1.5T or similar equipment. Strong patient care skills; ability to explain procedures clearly.
