Sr. UX DesignerSoftware Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Sr. UX Designer for a contract assignment with one of our premier regulatory clients in Rockville, MD. Join our firm's UX practice to solve complex problems and deliver exceptional user experiences. You'll help lead cross-functional product teams from discovery to launch using modern tools and AI to work smarter and deliver measurable value. Looking for someone seeking unique product challenges demanding your creativity and problem-solving skills, working with emerging technologies, and doing work that serves public interest.Responsibilities:Design intuitive, scalable solutions in Figma or equivalent within our design systemLead user research and translate insights into actionable product improvementsChampion accessibility and usability across our product portfolioLeverage AI tools to accelerate prototyping and influence product strategyBalance innovation with consistency across multiple productsCommunicate design decisions and value clearly to stakeholders at all levelsThrive in ambiguity and lean in to curiosityBe flexible, adaptable, and resourceful in the face of shifting prioritiesChampion usabilityRequired Skills:3–6 years of UX design experience with a strong portfolioHands-on experience with AI-powered design toolsBachelor's degree in UX Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience)Deep understanding of UX best practices and WCAG/508 accessibility standardsExceptional communication skills and strategic thinkingAbility to make informed decisions quickly in a fast-paced environmentSGA is a technology and resource solutions provider driven to stand out.
