Location:  Durham, NC
Pay: $25.09 per Hour
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Duties for the Custodian 

As a Temporary Custodian, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the facility. Responsibilities may include:

• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting assigned spaces
• Emptying trash and recycling containers
• Restocking restroom and facility supplies as needed
• Cleaning windows, doors, and other surfaces
• Maintaining floors and ensuring walkways remain safe and free of debris
• Following established safety, cleaning, and sanitation procedures
• Reporting maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
• Assisting with special cleaning projects as assigned

Requirements for the Custodian 

• Dependable and punctual attendance
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience within a commercial environment is required
• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Ability to pass a drug screening & background check
