This position offers the opportunity to work in an advanced clinical setting within a teaching hospital, providing care to patients through labor, delivery, and postpartum phases.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor & Delivery/Postpartum

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a Level 1 Trauma Hospital setting
• Manage and coordinate patient care in labor, delivery, and postpartum units
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize strong clinical assessment and labor & delivery skills
• Perform IV insertions and manage central lines

Requirements of the RN - Labor & Delivery/Postpartum

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an L&D RN
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring
• Basic Cardiac Rhythm competency (EKG proficiency required)
