Litigation Associate Attorney

Litigation AssociateWell established and growing firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Raleigh office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to work on complex and high-quality matters within a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.This is a hands-on position for an attorney who wants to take an active role in litigation. You will work closely with experienced attorneys while also managing key aspects of your own cases, gaining meaningful courtroom and client exposure.Key responsibilities include:Manage and support a caseload of complex civil litigation mattersDraft and argue substantive motions, including dispositive motionsTake and defend fact and expert witness depositionsConduct legal research and prepare high-quality written workParticipate in hearings, mediations, and trial preparationCollaborate with partners and clients to develop case strategyQualifications include:4–7+ years of litigation experienceExperience with medical negligence, premises liability, product liability, or similar complex tort mattersDemonstrated experience taking and defending depositions (including expert witnesses)Experience arguing motions in courtStrong legal research and writing skillsExcellent academic credentials (top 25% of class required)Licensed in North Carolina or eligible for admissionWillingness and ability to relocate to Wake County / Durham County, NCCompensation includes:Competitive base salary DOEDiscretionary bonusesHealth, Dental, Vision401(k)/retirementPTO and vacation/sickOngoing mentorshipPath to partnership coachingRelocation assistance for well qualified candidates
