Manager of Pricing and Analytics

Position Overview Pricing is a key driver of Rugs USA’s success and integral to growing sales and profitability. As the Manager of Pricing and Analytics you will play a pivotal role in developing a pricing, promotion, and markdown strategies that maximize the profitability of Rugs USA. This role will have broad exposure and an opportunity to forge new pricing and analytics capabilities for Rugs USA. Essential Job Functions Establish and maintain a clear pricing architecture that aligns with overall merchandising and channel strategies Manage markdown pricing process and analysis to balance maximizing sell-through and margin on all clearance and discontinued sku’s Monitor product and category profitability to proactively recommend price changes to maximize revenue and profitability Develop reporting to monitor competitor prices and make recommendations for price adjustments based on competitor positioning Forecast the impact of price and promotion changes to the business and analyze the financial impact of the changes post implementation Collaborate with Marketing and Ecommerce teams on promotion and pricing strategies including during large holiday sales events Improve the sophistication of pricing analysis through the development of elasticity analysis and improved forecasting tools You Have Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field; Advanced degree a plus 4 to 6 years experience working in a retail or ecommerce business with experience in pricing analysis preferred Excellent data analysis and analytical skills and comfort analyzing very large data sets Prior experience creating forecasts is required Expert using Microsoft Excel Familiar with financial and statistical analysis Experience with SQL, Python, or R a plus Comfort with data visualization and analysis software including Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik Your Life and Career at RugsUSA A culture that promotes a healthy work/life balance Benefits package offered to all eligible full-time employees (including medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k) Exposure to career advancement opportunities across all departments Generous employee discount that can be used across our house of brands! #J-18808-Ljbffr
