Job Description:

Title: Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Schedule: 12-hour shifts - Nights (1845-0715) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation.

Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 15 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: Not guaranteed.

Requirements:

- Active Hawaii RN license required by the start of the assignment.

- 2-10 years of nursing experience.

- Certifications: BLS, ACLS; Preferred: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC.

- Experience with Meditech EMR, pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care in medical and surgical units.

- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing treatment plans as necessary.

- Administer medications and perform necessary procedures.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

- Educate patients and families on health management and care plans.

Compliance / Notes:

- Must arrive the Thursday before start to attend an employee health appointment on Friday.

- Dress Code: Professional nursing attire - clean scrubs.

- No medical or religious exemption requests will be accepted in lieu of documented proof of immunity.
