Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianSCI, an American based manufacturing company that specializes in providing high-performance furniture to the restaurant, educational, hospitality, healthcare, corporate and gambling industries is hiring a Maintenance Technician. The primary responsibilities of this position are to maintain and repair existing production equipment throughout the manufacturing facility.Job Responsibilities:Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements of all equipment.Troubleshoot any issues of mechanical devices, correct issues as necessary to maintain productivity / quality standards.Control downtime by communicating with all departments.Set up and install new equipment as needed.Maintain equipment, parts and supplies inventories, conserve resources when able.Responsible for facility maintenance.Prepare maintenance reports, document and communicate actions, irregularities and continuing needs.Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, and comply with company safety policies and procedures.Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:High School diploma or higher and 2 to 4 years related experience;Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.This role may be eligible for the following benefits:Medical, Dental, VisionSupplemental InsuranceSavings AccountsRetirement AccountsPaid Time Off
