Accounts Payable Specialist

Must-Haves: 2+ years of Accounts Payable or accounting experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Excel Formulas (% count) X or V lookup Pivot tables Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Plusses: Experience with Sage Intacct (required or strongly preferred) Experience with Salesforce Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field Experience with electronic invoice processing and approval workflows Knowledge of sales and use tax requirements Experience working in a multi-location or service-based organization Understanding of general ledger accounting principles Day-to-Day: Review, verify, and process vendor invoices accurately and timely Match invoices to purchase orders, receipts, and documentation Enter and code invoices into Sage Intacct Process weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wires) Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Maintain vendor records, including W-9s and banking details Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding payments Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and accruals Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper expense coding and approvals Use Salesforce for invoice verification and reporting support Support external audits with documentation Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls Contribute to AP process improvements and workflow enhancements Job Description: Insight Global is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a top healthcare technology client.
