Fit Movement Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Stafford, Virginia. Work Environment

Located in Stafford, Virginia, our rehabilitation center encompasses a modern, well-equipped 5000 square foot facility dedicated to sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation. The collaborative atmosphere fosters teamwork, as you will work closely with our experienced team of physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant. We aspire to create an engaging and motivational environment both for our staff and the patients we serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly assess each patient's needs, goals, and medical history to design tailored treatment plans.
• Conduct one-on-one sessions with patients, managing a caseload of one patient per hour, to ensure focused and effective care.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, to improve range of motion and functional mobility.
• Educate patients on their rehabilitation process and motivate them to engage actively in their treatment plans.
• Develop comprehensive care strategies aimed at reducing dependency on medications and exploring non-surgical options.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care that addresses all aspects of recovery.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes meticulously, ensuring compliance with state regulations and practice standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic rehabilitation, servicing a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from sports injuries, surgical interventions, chronic pain conditions, and other mobility impairments. Your expertise will enable you to directly contribute to each patient's journey towards regaining an active lifestyle and optimal functionality.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• Clean professional record with no history of disciplinary action against your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and innovative exercise modalities.
• Experience with electronic medical records systems, specifically WebPT or equivalent.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient environment is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings options, and paid time off.
