This position is a third shift opportunity with a pay scale of $32/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior workmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:Weld heavy structural plateWeld flat, vertical, and overhead positionsRead blueprints and weld proceduresFabricate and assemble weld projectsMeasure welds accuratelyPerform air carbon arc gougingUse cutting torches and beveling materialGrind and prepare componentsFollow AWS welding proceduresRead blueprints and welding drawingsUnderstand AWS welding symbols and terminologyFollow weld procedure specifications (WPS)Read tape measures in inches and millimetersConvert millimeters into inchesPerform basic math calculationsRequirements:Understand preheating practicesMust be experienced with:FCAW (.052 wire) – Vertical 3GGMAW (.052 wire) – Flat and Horizontal100% CO? shielding gas*Air carbon arc gouging (.025 carbon rod)Be safe from fraud!
