Occupational Therapist - Acute Care

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (07:00 - 17:00). Weekends required rotating on a 6-week basis.

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist with acute care experience to provide exemplary patient care in a dynamic hospital setting. The Occupational Therapist will float between various units, providing essential therapy services to adult and geriatric patients with diverse diagnoses, including multi-trauma, spinal cord injuries (SCI), surgical recovery, and neurological conditions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients across acute, medical, ICU, and inpatient rehab units.
• Implement and manage individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain productivity standards and flexibility in managing patient load.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Washington State Occupational Therapy license.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience.
• Experience with IPR preferred.
• Strong time management and independent working skills.
