Inventory Clerk - 1st shift

Overview At CJ Logistics, we seek a detail‑oriented, proactive Inventory Clerk to join our team and keep our inventory running like clockwork! Pay & Schedule Pay Range: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour + $0.75 shift differential. Schedule options: 1A – Tuesday thru Saturday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm 1A – Sunday thru Thursday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Responsibilities Organize, monitor, and maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple locations. Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations for inbound, outbound, and aisle inventory. Track and update product movement, identifying and correcting inventory discrepancies. Investigate recurring inventory issues and determine root causes to prevent future discrepancies. Properly manage inventory at varying status levels (on‑hand, on‑order, damaged) and ensure correct handling. Operate a sit‑down forklift to assist with inventory counts, stock organization, and other warehouse tasks as needed. Collaborate with customers, receiving, and sales teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and ensure smooth operations. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Strong attention to detail; able to spot missing items from a mile away. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); experience with AS400 and/or warehouse management systems is preferred. Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve work‑related issues. Forklift certification—experience operating a stand‑up forklift.
