Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thu 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, controlled-access areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, maintaining accurate logs and communicating concerns to appropriate personnel. Support protection of sensitive operations, materials, and information by following applicable security-related policies and reporting potential policy violations. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. An active DoD Secret Clearance is required. Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
