Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in a healthcare facility. The role requires a highly experienced OR nurse capable of circulating and scrubbing across multiple specialties, including trauma, neurology, orthopedics, and transplants. The successful candidate will support a busy surgical environment with a variety of complex cases using advanced technology and equipment.

Job Details:

• Shift: Day shift, with hours from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 24 months of current operating room experience in a hospital or medical center setting, circulating or scrub experience highly preferred. Experience in General, Da Vinci Robotics, Pediatrics, and Trauma cases required. Additional experience in Neurology, Orthopedics (primarily trauma), Gynecology, Urology, Transplants, Plastics, ENT, and Vascular preferred. EPIC electronic medical systems experience within the previous 3 years required. Trauma Level I experience highly preferred; Level II experience required.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, with the assignment starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/11/2027.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have an active Iowa or multistate license or compact license at the time of submission. Must have completed a travel assignment within the previous 15 months. Skills checklist must be discipline-specific. Certifications in BLS (AHA or ARC) required. Weekend shifts are every 4th weekend, with the possibility of working 1-2 of 3 upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed. Floating across all campuses, including Iowa Methodist MC and Iowa Lutheran, is required.
