(USA) Member Specialist

Position Summary Member Service Associate at Sam's Club will provide member service, maintain the checkout area, resolve member issues and concerns, promote club products and services, guide members on self‑service technology, process purchases, handle payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges, enforce safety standards, conduct safety sweeps, maintain entrance and exit areas, manage merchandise shelving, assist with training of new associates, and uphold company policies on ethics, integrity, and security. Key Responsibilities Provide member service and resolve member issues and concerns. Maintain the checkout area and process member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges. Promote Sam's Club products and services, aiding members in purchasing decisions. Guide members on self‑service technology and assist with mobile retail applications. Conduct safety sweeps and follow company safety standards and guidelines. Maintain entrance and exit areas, verify membership cards, and keep a safe shopping environment. Zone and organize merchandise, identify shrink and damages. Manage paperwork, logs, and other required documentation. Execute emergency response procedures and ensure compliance with security and safety practices. Assist in training new associates on company processes and procedures. Collaborate with managers, co‑workers, and business partners to prioritize tasks and communicate progress. Minimum Qualifications Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register). Experience working with mobile retail applications. Preferred Qualifications Additional experience in a high‑volume retail environment. Strong communication and customer‑service skills. Ability to work flexible shifts and weekend schedules. Additional premiums may be awarded ($0.35–$3.00 per hour) based on schedule, facility, season, or specific tasks.
