Schedule

Nights, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6 weeks. Holidays as needed, no call required.

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in emergency nursing practices and the ability to handle various critical situations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department.
• Manage a patient ratio of 4-5 patients.
• Utilize clinical skills and equipment to assess, manage, and provide care to diverse patient populations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, Respiratory Services, Social Services, and Pharmacy.
• Perform various emergency procedures and interventions as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department.
• Active RN license required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; CPI, PALS, and TNCC preferred.
• EPIC charting system experience required.
• Previous Charge RN and Trauma Level II experience preferred.
