Experienced Account ExecutiveWPBF-TV 25, the ABC affiliate in West Palm Beach, FL is looking for an Experienced Account Executive. As an Account Executive, you will report to the Local Sales Manager and sell advertising to local businesses and negotiate buys with ad agencies. You will also solicit new businesses to advertise on our TV and Digital platforms. If you want to work for the best, we want to hear from you today!Responsibilities:Manage an active account/client listProduce revenue across all available platformsProspect, contact and present to new businessesDevelop new revenue through local business developmentConceptualize, create, and present sales proposals that are consistent with station strategiesAchieve individual sales goals while contributing to WPBF 25's dynamic sales teamRequirements:1+ years in media or digital sales, or similar sales fieldExperience with the development of new business/non-traditional businessStrong negotiation skillsExperience in a consultative, customer-focused business atmosphereAccountability within a goal-structured organizationMust be a team playerExperience selling to business ownersUnderstand and use qualitative research to further sales effortRelated military experience will be consideredAt Hearst Television we tell stories every day.
