Custodian
$17.50 an hour

Job type: Full-time, Temporary to hire
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: Saint Benedict, LA

Lofton Staffing Services is hiring a dependable Custodian to maintain cleanliness across multiple buildings. If you take pride in a clean, safe work environment and have commercial cleaning experience, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning and maintenance throughout assigned buildings
  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
  • Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms
  • Clean up spills and maintain safe walkways
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables
  • Keep cleaning equipment clean and in working condition

Requirements:

  • Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience
  • Experience stripping and maintaining floors
  • Comfortable using standard cleaning equipment and tools
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning chemical/supply use
  • Able to wear required PPE
  • CMMS experience preferred, or willingness to learn
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
