Local Delivery Driver (CDL w/Hazmat)

Job Overview Local Delivery Driver (CDL with Hazmat) – San Francisco, CA. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6 a.m.-5 p.m.; Pay: CDL A $36.00/hr, CDL B $34.00/hr. Sign‑on bonus: $3,000 paid in two installments; referral bonus: $500. Monthly bonus potential and 401(k) with company match. Responsibilities Safely load, deliver, and unload compressed gas cylinders to customer locations. Record deliveries and pickups on load manifest and obtain customer signatures. Collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders and return them to plant or branch for refilling. Adhere to all Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and government regulations (DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, OSHA). Assist in warehouse or dock operations as needed. Required Qualifications Valid Class A or Class B CDL with Hazmat & Airbrake endorsements. Current Hazmat endorsement (candidates without a current Hazmat will not be considered). Maintain driver’s license, medical card, and all endorsements. No more than two traffic convictions or two at‑fault accidents in the last three years; or no more than one conviction and one accident in the last three years. No driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances within the last seven years. Work in a drug‑free environment. Ability to lift 75 lb regularly and move over 125 lb with material handling equipment. One year of CDL driving experience in the last five years, or recent completion of trucking school within the last twelve months. Preferred Qualifications Forklift experience. Additional one year of CDL experience.
