Customer Retention Specialist - State Farm Agent Team Member Full Time in Chicago - IL (North Center) Chicago 60618 State Farm Agency seeks an In surance Licensed Customer Retention/Service Rep/State Farm Agent Team Member to support existing customers and help grow the agency through value-based relationship conversations. This role focuses on inbound customer contacts, outreach, relationship maintenance, and proactive inbound/outbound conversations to drive service and sales. We prefer candidates who are within a 30-minute commute to our office. If you want to work with a local team and build lasting customer relationships, we’d love to hear from you. Insurance Licenses required or willing to obtain ASAP. (We prefer P&C + L&H, but we may consider motivated, outgoing candidates who are fast learners and results-driven.). Insurance agency experience preferred. Responsibilities Contact customers for renewals, coverage options, and ongoing support Review policies/accounts and recommend updates to address coverage gaps Cross-sell additional products based on customer needs Identify opportunities to improve satisfaction and engagement Provide timely quotes and follow up within the same business day when possible Maintain accurate customer records and documentation Prioritize and manage workflow to ensure efficient, accurate processing Represent the agency at occasional community events Build a referral network center of influence and generate leads Create and contribute to customer reviews (including social media) Qualifications P&C license required (must possess or obtain ASAP) and L&H preferred Insurance agency experience preferred Strong communication skills (verbal + written) and persuasive customer conversations Natural relationship-builder—friendly, empathetic, and patient Calm under pressure; proactive problem-solver Coachable with a positive, “can-do” attitude Reliable, strong work ethic, and fast learner Comfortable handling phone/computer work all day Base pay (DOE) Incentive pay based on production Paid time off (personal/holidays) Profit sharing plan License fees reimbursed after 6 months (if unlicensed) Total Compensation is uncapped, which includes a base and production incentive, which depends on active insurance licenses, experience, education, skillset, production Total compensation is uncapped and based on production, active licenses, and experience. Part-Time Option Although this is Full-Time, we may consider Part-Time. Part-time candidates must already have at least a P&C license.
