• Positions can currently be remote but, upon conversion, onsite presence is expected within the Indianapolis–Columbus region.

Schedule: 8 hours a day flexible hours Position Summary
Are you an experienced recruiter looking for your next opportunity? Kelly is seeking a skilled Recruiter for a contingent 3-month assignment with the potential to become permanent. This position supports recruitment for Cummins’ DBU Headquarters in Indianapolis and Corporate Office in Columbus. Candidates must have recruitment experience (agency and/or in-house), excellent organizational skills, and be able to transition to an onsite role in the Indianapolis–Columbus region if extended beyond the contingent assignment. Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent training required.
• 2–4 years of customer service-related experience required.
• Experience in recruiting or sales preferred.

Responsibility Level

• Exercises moderate independent judgment, receiving direction from the supervisor as needed.

Required Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Basic knowledge of:
  • Legal policies and procedures related to hiring practices.
  • Principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, and training.
  • Business and management procedures involved in strategic planning.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and computer applications.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Use computer databases, internet recruiting resources, and cold calling to attract candidates.
• Interview applicants to gather information on work history, education, and skills.
• Prepare and maintain accurate employment records.
• Communicate with applicants about employment opportunities, offer status, and outcomes.
• Inform candidates about company facilities, benefits, and career opportunities.
• Support pipeline management and the offer conversion process.
• Maintain strong organizational habits and prioritize tasks effectively.

Additional Information

• Assignment: 3 months, with option to convert to permanent employment.
• Work Hours: Flexible; expected to total 8-hour workdays.
• Interviews: Short Zoom interviews will be conducted.
• Location: Remote to start; expectation for onsite presence post-conversion in the Indy–Columbus region.
• Organizational and prior recruiting experience are required.
