Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

A healthcare organization in Alaska is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive patient care across general practice and emergency services. This permanent role offers a collaborative clinical environment with strong support and competitive benefits.

Position Highlights

Provide direct patient care in clinic and urgent/emergency settings
Perform assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
Deliver care within scope of licensure using sound clinical judgment
Perform procedures as appropriate
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
Active Alaska NP or PA license (or eligibility)
National certification (AANP/ANCC for NPs or NCCPA for PAs)
DEA registration (or eligibility)
Prior clinical experience preferred
Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills

Work Environment

General practice and emergency care setting
OSHA Category 1 position
