Financial AnalystThe Financial Analyst is responsible for the examination of financial information in order to make sound recommendations to SVPs, Regional Directors and Restaurant Management teams on how to achieve higher restaurant profitability. Responsibilities include partnering with operational leadership to develop best practices that will drive higher restaurant profitability, assisting restaurant managers in the development, implementation and monitoring of plans that improve restaurant earnings, and participating in Regional, General Manager and Culinary Manager Meetings providing analysis that recognizes both successes and opportunities. The role also involves conducting complex analyses and resolution of cost issues based on current industry standards, participating in the development and maintenance of performance metrics, measurements, methods and targets, and providing ongoing management consulting on the use and interpretation of analyses, reports, methodologies, systems and source data. The Financial Analyst must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. One to two years experience in accounting or financial analysis is required. The candidate must have the ability to be an insightful business advisor to all levels of management, from operations managers to senior field executives and the CFO. Excellent written and communications skills with strict attention to detail are necessary. The candidate should be highly proficient on all MS Office products, especially Excel and Access, and should be able to work quickly and accurately while adhering to tight deadlines. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred, and restaurant experience is desirable.
