Financial Analyst

Position Summary Our client is looking for a full-time Financial Analyst (FA) based in our Houston office. The FA will be responsible for supporting the company’s strategic goals and objectives as a key member within the Corporate Planning, Business Development and Treasury groups. In addition to assisting with Beacon’s corporate planning and treasury management, the FA will contribute to a broad array of financial business including risk management (hedging), debt compliance, and transactional analysis. What you will be doing Creation and management of financial models/analyses, including but not limited to project and cost performance, asset evaluation, financial covenant and ratio analysis, and transaction driven analyses Preparation of periodic financial reports and analysis for Management and Board of Managers Perform research on industry and asset-level trends Assist in contract analysis and debt compliance Coordinate efforts in response to investor information requests Contribute to a work environment that is consistent with Beacon’s values What you will need BS degree in business, finance, engineering, accounting or economics Analytical thinker with 1-3 years of work experience in the oil & gas industry; investment banking, corporate planning, transaction advisory or Big Four accounting experience highly preferred Strong familiarity with financial models and analysis Very proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel A strong work ethic and a positive attitude suited to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong organizational and process management skills, with keen attention to detail Ability to prioritize deliverables and flexibility to work hours needed to meet deadlines #J-18808-Ljbffr
