Position Summary & Primary Responsibilities:The Real Estate Manager is responsible for all property operations and team membermanagement at their assigned property or properties, providing superior customer service toresidents and excellent stewardship of the owner's asset. This position has accountability formaintaining the smooth flow of operations, supervising and providing direction to site staff, andensuring the financial success of their assigned property. In addition, this position isresponsible for the following:Directly supervising all on-site staff to include office, maintenance, andgrounds/caretaking personnelHandling and resolving resident concerns in a timely and customer friendly mannerSuccessful marketing of the apartment community including building relationships withlocal businesses and corporate outreachUnderstanding and upholding company policies and procedures as well as identifyingand developing process improvementsUnderstanding and ensuring adherence to all state and federal regulations surroundinghousing, employment, and, if applicable, affordable housing programsFinancial reporting, including owners' reports and budget creationUnderstanding and adhering to established property budgets, communicatingeffectively and proactively with Operations Leadership if the need for unforeseenexpenses emergesResponding to and overseeing the resolution of emergency situations at assignedproperty or properties, both during and outside of regular business hoursUpholding the rules and regulations of the property, issuing lease violations, nonrenewals,and eviction notices when appropriateCoordinating or overseeing the coordination of community events such as NationalNight OutFrequently and effectively communicating with teams, Shelter management, and ownerclients when appropriatePerforming special projects and other duties as assigned by Operations LeadershipEducation & Experience:High school diploma or equivalentExperience managing communities of 100+ units for a professional propertymanagement company4+ years of supervisory experience in leading and motivating teams to meet goalsTax credit and section 8 experience preferredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Excellent leadership and management skills, including effective relationship buildingboth within and outside the organizationExceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a widerange of peopleAbility to demonstrate good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skillsStrong organizational skillsAbility to maintain a professional and polished imageAbility to effectively use, leverage, and learn technology platforms. Experience withYardi software preferred.Exceptional customer service and communication skillsAbility to develop, understand, and adhere to a budgetAbility to multi-task and work well under pressure
