Job Title: RN - Med Surg - Travel Nurse


Location: Chattanooga, TN


Pay: $2142.72 per week


Shifts: Three full 12-hour shifts, including 3-4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period


Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN - Med Surg Travel Nurse specializing in cardiac and telemetry care. This contract role is based in Chattanooga, TN, providing an opportunity to work within a dynamic hospital environment with advanced cardiac care facilities.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel Nurse

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a 30-bed cardiac med-surg unit
• Manage patient ratios of 1:6, supporting a high level of care
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips and medications, including titratable drips like Cardizem and heparin
• Utilize GE telemetry and Meditech documentation systems efficiently
• Collaborate with unit secretaries, patient care techs, and charge nurses to enhance patient experience
• Participate in self-scheduling and assist with floating rotations as required

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel Nurse

• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and EKG/cardiac rhythm identification certifications
• Proficient in Meditech and experienced with cardiac medications/drips
• Strong knowledge of cardiac/telemetry, including EKG rhythm identification
