About the Opportunity

We are seeking a senior AI Learning Experience Designer who embodies a "triple threat" profile: a deep learning and strategy background, hands-on UX/UI design expertise, and fluent, practical capabilities with AI prototyping. This client-facing role combines design consulting, learning science, UX/UI, and real-time AI prototyping to transform enterprise business needs into modern, interactive learning solutions.

Location: United States - Remote Contract Type: W2 Contract Project Duration: Up to 2 years Project Capacity: 40 hours/week Start Date: ASAP Hourly Rate: $55/hour

SweetRush is a remote organization, and as such, all resources must be technically savvy, have access to a strong internet signal, be comfortable with virtual/instant messaging and conferencing tools, and generally be available during established working hours.

Your Impact and Responsibilities :

• Partner directly with enterprise clients and internal stakeholders from discovery to delivery, acting as a trusted learning consultant grounded in adult learning principles.
• Build working wireframes and functional prototypes in real-time during live client sessions, iterating and course-correcting rapidly to validate concepts.
• Design end-to-end learning journeys and interfaces across live, virtual, and digital modalities, with a heavy focus on experience-led solutions, enterprise apps, and AI-immersive experiences.
• Apply hands-on AI prototyping and coding tools across the workflow, maintaining human judgment over pedagogical quality, UX polish, and learning outcomes.
• Navigate and manage AI-related risk, including data privacy, algorithmic bias, reliability, accessibility standards, and compliance.
• Define, analyze, and act on learning data and success metrics beyond simple completion rates.
• Apply design thinking frameworks, conduct design sprints, and facilitate review/revision cycles with subject matter experts.
• Plan and support execution of live, virtual, and blended learning events, including show flows and facilitation materials.
• Contribute to client pitches, proposals, and strategy presentations with senior executive leadership.

What You Bring - Required Skills

• 7 to 10 years of overall professional experience, with at least 5+ years dedicated to training and development/learning experience design.
• Grounded Learning Science Foundation: Proven ability to establish high-level learning strategies, conduct needs analysis, and craft instructional frameworks for complex business problems.
• Hands-On UX/UI Expertise: Strong foundational skills in UI building, user research, wireframing, and usability testing. Must be an active builder rather than a high-level manager.
• AI Prototyping & Generative AI Fluency: Direct, current experience building working prototypes using AI coding/prototyping tools and generative AI workflows.
• Real-Time Client Facilitation: Demonstrated capability to interface with senior partners/stakeholders, ideate live, and prototype concepts interactively during client meetings.
• Bias toward Building: Prefer ring-side hands-on prototyping and execution over simply writing specifications or managing delivery teams.
• Strong analytical, data literacy, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent presence, pitching skills, and written/verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, cloud collaboration tools, LMS/LXP platforms, and standard authoring tools.

Bonus Skills

• Prior experience in a top-tier management consulting firm or professional services environment.
• Agency background working with enterprise-level global clients.
• Familiarity with modern LXP platforms, custom enterprise learning tech stacks, and advanced LMS integrations.
