As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Tarrytown, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a healthcare location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence, assisting visitors, managing access, and supporting a secure, organized environment. You will use strong communication and customer service skills to address questions, report security-related concerns, and help deter incidents. Pay Rate: $22.64 - $23.64 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional front-desk customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies in a healthcare location.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and direct individuals according to established access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems from the front desk, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident documentation, and communications with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
