Actuarial Consultant

To support the Personal Lines Pricing team, the full-time Actuarial Consultant, Ohio Licensed, will perform complex actuarial analyses focused on the Homeowner's line of business, influencing pricing strategies and managing risk while collaborating with various teams in a hybrid work environment. Key Responsibilities Perform actuarial analyses to inform pricing and trend assumptions for personal lines Collaborate with Risk Management on catastrophe and profit assumptions for pricing Support the innovation and documentation of property pricing methodologies and monitor emerging loss trends Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related quantitative field ACAS designation or significant progress toward achieving actuarial credential preferred Experience in P&C pricing, particularly in personal lines property or catastrophe pricing Working knowledge of actuarial pricing methodologies and analytical judgment Experience with SQL and familiarity with Python, R, or similar analytical tools is beneficial
