Social Services Coordinator 3

Summary Under general supervision, Social Services Coordinator 3 is responsible for assessing client needs, coordinating access to community resources, and delivering supportive services that promote stability, independence, and overall well‑being. This role collaborates with internal teams and external partners to develop and implement service plans, advocate for clients, and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Plan, manage, and evaluate programmatic and administrative functions across MH Residential and Shelter Plus Care programs Complete monthly grant reporting, including DCA utilization reports, DBHDD programmatic reports, and internal tracking tools Support grant compliance and timely reimbursement submissions Serve as a cross‑trained resource in both residential and housing programs to ensure continuity of operations Assist with hiring, onboarding, coaching, and training staff Establish and maintain relationships with community partners and agencies Monitor service delivery to ensure compliance with DBHDD, DCA, and HUD requirements Guide and oversee resource distribution to reduce duplication of services Attend local meetings and support community resource development Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED and general office or administrative experience Note: Some positions require a valid Georgia’s Driver’s License. Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of job‑related experience; or two (2) years experience at the lower level Social Svcs Prgm Coord 2 (SSP031) or position equivalent. Note: Some positions require eligibility for licensure. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift and carry up to 25/50 lbs. Sitting, standing and/or walking, pushing/pulling, handling, reaching, bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, squatting, climbing (ladders or stairs), overhead reaching.
