Join our team as a Welder / Fabricator / Mobile Welder and bring your expertise in metal fabrication and welding to life! 20 Years Experience required. You will be PAID PER JOB, in some cases Generously! You will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components with precision and craftsmanship at our Shop and On-Site for Mobile Welding Calls. Your mechanical knowledge, adherence to safety protocols, and ability to interpret technical drawings will drive the success of our fabrication projects. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction site projects, utilizing a variety of welding techniques and fabrication skills to deliver top-quality results.
Header: Duties
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical blueprints to accurately fabricate and assemble metal components.
• Perform welding using various techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) in accordance with AWS (American Welding Society) standards.
• Measure materials precisely using calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and shop math to ensure proper fit and alignment.
• Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other metal materials using plasma cutters, power tools, hand tools, and machining equipment.
• Fabricate metal structures on-site or in the shop by interpreting technical drawings, ensuring all work meets safety protocols and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures during welding, machining, assembly, and material handling activities.
• Collaborate with team members on construction sites or fabrication shops to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
Header: Experience
• 20 Years of Proven experience in metal fabrication or welding within construction sites or fabrication shops.
• Skilled in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and SMAW with knowledge of AWS standards on Aluminum Mig, Structural Steel and Stainless Steel welding repairs. *CERTIFIED WELDER PREFERRED*
• Able to use Spool Guns for Aluminum Welding Repairs and Fabrications
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, mechanical blueprint interpretation, shop math, and technical drawing analysis.
• Hands-on experience with measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for precise fabrication tasks.
• Ability to operate power tools, plasma cutters, machining equipment, metal shaping equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of safety protocols specific to welding environments and construction sites is essential. OSHA 10 and/or 30 certified *PREFERRED*
• Mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes, sheet metal fabrication, plasma cutting, machining operations, and metal materials handling is highly desirable.
